The Smart Power is a title that is given to Simon Wilby and one he goes by. He is a British-Canadian fellow who is not only an investor but an inventor as well. He also happens to be the CEO of The Smart Power Incorporated.

At the present time, Simon Wilby is currently at full-speed in terms of negotiating with telecommunications companies particularly in Barbados. This is where he had his first initial launch, late last year (2008), with his revolutionary device called “The Smart One”.

It is a very special device that uses the latest technology to date. “The Smart One” has the ability to recharge any mobile phone battery by effectively applying solar power. Simon Wilby beams with delight as he explains why his product is different and better than conventionally charged cellular phones. He induced that once a mobile phone uses “The Smart One”, it becomes more reliable due to the materials he used. Simon Wilby opted to make use of plastic as oppose to silicone in the device’s circuits. The reason behind this is because the materials he used make “The Smart One” much lighter and much faster to charge.
It would be a dream come true for Simon Wilby to see his precious invention “The Smart One” make its grand entrance to the global market this year. It will definitely be an event that the world will be watching.

The CEO of The Smart Power of Canada, Simon Wilby has the power to transform how we use our cellular phones with his invention called “The Smart One”.

With the support of his company The Smart Power Incorporated, Simon Wilby can change how the world views the practical use of solar power. He was able to introduce this special device in the island of Barbados where the sun’s rays are quite abundant all year round. “The Smart Power” Simon Wilby recognizes that the country is a perfect location and decided that it would be his launch pad for his special device.

“The Smart One” is a product that can absorb direct power and gets itself charged-up using light sources such as the sunlight, moonlight and other forms of light. This process allows cellular phones to charge without the use of electricity.

Simon Wilby’s company The Smart Power Incorporated will be in-charge of “The Smart One’s” production and distribution. This technology is a great alternative power device and as such, the international market has a growing interest with this product.

Simon Wilby has touched upon a technology that opens so many doors to possibilities; right now, Simon Wilby has touched our cell phones and us - the users as well.

Simon Wilby, a Canadian inventor has specified a way to make solar power realistically practical to every tom, dick and harry.

The invention is none other than the “The Smart One”. This is an aftermarket device that was intended for mobile phones. The inventor, Simon Wilby, had this idea of “The Smart One” being accessible to just about any mobile phone with the purpose of being powered up with the use of light energy; no more chargers needed nor electricity to function.

This creation of Simon Wilby has been established as a very proficient device. Essentially, “The Smart One” was able to outdo the typical cell phone batteries by 300%. This is with regards to talk time. His nifty device takes away the bulky wires as well as large solar panels. This is achieved by means of high caliber plastic solar panels taking the place of the usual silicon panels.

Ironically, Simon Wilby who never had any official knowledge when it came to the science of energy had gotten the idea within the span of fifteen (15) minutes. This was following an annoying incident of him being cut-off in the midst of a very important phone call due to his mobile phone dying due to uncharged batteries.

It was indeed a blessing in disguise. His unpleasant incident turned out to be one great business venture.

The prospect of a better tomorrow is definitely looking much brighter and it is all thanks to the Canadian inventor Simon Wilby.

Simon Wilby’s invention “The Smart One” is drawing a great deal of attention for its enormous prospect as being an energy saver. The device works by installing it into a mobile phone unit. This is done in order to charge the cell phone battery. You charge it by using any sort of light source; this could be the sun, moonlight, an artificial or an ambient light and you’re all set.

Simon Wilby used materials that are considered to be state-of-the-art. The battery technology itself is very innovative. Simon Wilby designed the product in such a way that it continuously charges itself so that one need not bring his or her charger at all times nor does anyone need to find a wall socket to charge their cell phone unit. This is all good because consumers need not worry about missing an important call, a mobile phone dying on them especially in emergencies and being cut off mid-sentence when in a phone call.

“The Smart One” is also ideal for globe trotters. They can easily bring their hand phones with them without worrying if the charger will be compatible with wall sockets of other countries. They also don’t need to bring their chargers nor do they have to worry about cell phones dying out on them. It is definitely convenient and practical for travelers.

The sun always comes out tomorrow and now we can thank Simon Wilby for a great invention today.

Simon Wilby is pretty much a simple guy with simple needs. All he wanted was to do business well by talking to people without the hassle of being cut off or for his mobile phone battery not to die out on him. Out of sheer frustration out popped an inspiration. He took a pen and paper napkin and began coming up with an initial design which soon led to the invention of “The Smart One”.

Simon Wilby’s device had the capacity to transform light energy into power for mobile phones. This is done by installing an aftermarket device that is compatible to every type of mobile phone there is. Realizing that he was on to an amazing discovery, Simon Wilby did not waste an ounce of time searching for the best patent attorney he could find before flying to China in order to generate a prototype.

Simon Wilby disclosed that it took him approximately seven (7) weeks beginning from the conceptualization and then towards the production of the first prototype of “The Smart One”.

Not long after, Simon Wilby found himself setting up international corporate headquarters in the sunny island of Barbados. At the same time, he was searching for new applications based on the technology that he had created. Next step would be to utilize the technology for street lamps. If you ask me, that is a good way to light the path of solar power today.

After Simon Wilby had successfully invented “The Smart One”; an aftermarket device intended for mobile phones that created the possibility of conventional chargers becoming obsolete, Simon Wilby now sets his mind to focus on much bigger, brighter and more practical applications by making use of solar power.

By means of using similar design principles that shaped the extremely proficient battery and charging method of “The Smart One”, Simon Wilby has begun his pursuit of adapting the technology for laptops as well as for other portable items.

It is given that in a short span of time, Simon Wilby’s company The Smart Power Inc. will be introducing similar technology for smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. The main problem with this device is that once its traditional batteries run out, homeowners have the tendency to overlook or forget about it completely which is why the technology used for “The Smart One” would be a good candidate for this.

Next on the list that Simon Wilby will be focusing on is a system for solar powered street lights. This spells savings of over millions of dollars from countries all around the globe.

With numerous practical applications that this technology can enhance each and everyday, Simon Wilby will continue to discover new and better ways of providing people with the best options starting with the use of solar power for the promise of a brighter tomorrow.

It only took 15 minutes for Simon Wilby to jot down a basic design for The Smart One on a paper napkin but in those 15 minutes, he managed to upstage big electronic firms that have been looking for a practical way to use solar power for everyday electronics.

The Smart One is an aftermarket product for the cellular phone market which is so efficient at collecting light energy and converting into usable power that it actually provides 300% more talk time than a conventionally charged phone on a full charge.

The Smart One is only the first of a wide range of products envisioned by Simon Wilby to make solar power a practical part of everyday life. Simon Wilby won’t stop with cell phone batteries though. He has already designed and patented a similar device for laptops and hopes to soon market ‘smart batteries’ that would eliminate the need to periodically replace conventional batteries.

There seems to be no stopping Simon Wilby from coming up with more and more uses for solar power. After the tremendous success in developing The Smart One, an aftermarket product for cellular phones which practically eliminates the need to lug around a conventional charger, Simon Wilby is set to take on more ambitious projects using the same design principles behind The Smart One.

Simon Wilby has already patented and designed a similar product for laptops that could spell the end for those bulky chargers consumers are forced to lug around.

Other Simon Wilby solar powered devices to soon to hit shelves include ‘smart batteries’ which would eliminate the need to replace dead batteries on important household devices like smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

Simon Wilby even plans to apply this technology in developing solar powered street lamps to light remote areas of the island nation of Barbados, where his company The Smart Power Inc. is based.

The Smart One is an ingeniously simple yet effective aftermarket product for cellular phones which can easily installed with a kit and converts cell phones into solar powered devices. It uses an extremely efficient and ultra thin plastic solar cell instead of traditional silicon to maximize the collection of energy from practically any light source.

Other common household gadgets will soon be using the same technology that produced The Smart One. Simon Wilby has already designed and patented a solar power cell “skin” for laptops that makes clunky conventional chargers a thing of the past.

The future is looking bright and sunny indeed for Simon Wilby and his amazing inventions.
